Eight New COVID-19 Cases, Two Deaths

Once again, there are fewer active cases of COVID-19 for the Thunder Bay District.

The health unit is reporting we’re at 57 for Friday, but, sadly two more people have passed away.

As for the number of new cases, there are eight.

However, Ontario continues in the wrong direction, with 4,812 on Friday, another record breaking day.

Premier Doug Ford is expected to announce further, tougher restrictions in the afternoon at around 2:30, with modeling data showing the province could sky rocket up to 18,000 cases daily by the end of May.
