There are 10 active wild fires burning across northwstern Ontario and three are not considered under control.
The largest is Dryden Fire #13, which has grown to about 16,000.
It’s burning at the south end of Wabakimi Provincial Park about 41 kilometers west of Armstrong.
Currently 12 fire ranger crews are battling the blaze and conducting fire suppression operations.
The MNR says residents may experience smoke drift in their communities because of smoke drift.
