Drug bust puts 4 behind bars

Three city residents and one Toronto man have been arrested following a Thursday evening drug bust at two homes on Pearl Street.

A warrant was executed as part of an ongoing investigation into drug trafficking at those locations.

Officers seized $6,000 worth of cocaine and fentanyl, along with $5,000 in cash and drug trafficking equipment.

Two 20 year old men, one from Toronto, the other from Thunder Bay, along with a 35 year old Thunder Bay man and a 33 year old Thunder Bay woman each face the following charges:

• Possession of Fentanyl for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000

All four have been remanded into custody.
