Remember the huge “drone show” last summer at Marina Park? The great news is – the City of Thunder Bay and the Thunder Bay Airport announced – it’s back again.
It’s part of the “Summer Send Off Series” on August 27th.
The cool thing is: the City is asking for your input on what possible images could be displayed as part of the August DRONE SHOW.
This morning, on Morning’s In The Bay, on 99.9 The Bay……….Danny & John put it out there and asked YOU…….what images you think would be a great addition to the show.
John suggested the 99.9 The Bay logo.
Danny suggested a stack of Hoito pancakes (HAHA). Or, how about the famous PERSIAN DONUT.
Here’s just a few suggestions that came in via our TEXT LINE:
Chippewa Carousel
Thunder Bay flag
A ski jumper
Python pothole machine (lol)
Fireworks (since we don’t have a fireworks show)
Landmarks of bars (Inntowner / Expressway Lounge)
Snowflakes
Eagle Canyon suspension bridge
Snowbirds
Rising sun over The Sleeping Giant
…and the list goes on.
