City police investigating bomb threat at Drag Queen Storytime

Drag Queen Storytime was the target of another bomb threat.

On Saturday city police were informed of a threat made against the event and host the Mary J. L. Black Library.

Police searched the library and nearby community centre building, and determined there was no credible threat in the area.

Officers remained on-site and ensured the event was able to continue without incident.

This is the second bomb threat to target the event this year. In March the event was cancelled following a separate threat.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is encouraged to contact Thunder Bay Police Service.
