This one was loaded and dropped in a donation bin at the Value Village on Memorial Avenue.
The .22 caliber gun was loaded while it was in the donation bin, Thunder Bay Police have taken the fire arm into custody.
While there is no ongoing firearm amnesty in effect at this time, the Thunder Bay Police Service is urging the public to surrender weapons safely to police.
If you are handing over weapons, it is a public reminder not to bring any firearms into the TBPS headquarters.
