Resolved cases are outweighing new ones as the Thunder Bay District reports 38 new COVID-19 infections.
There are 45 resolved cases, putting the district at 399 active cases.
This is the first time since March 6th that the district has had fewer than 400 active cases of the virus.
- 32 people were infected by someone in their household
- Ten others are listed as “close contact”
- One case is tied to the Walford Retirement Home outbreak
- Seven cases have no known exposure
- Four case causes are pending
Province-wide, there are 1,745 new cases and ten more people have died due to COVID-19.
