There’s a move on by some members of the Fort William Business to Improvement Area the current board of directors.
Lori Paras is one of those disgruntled members and tells us they are not happy with the way the board is conducting its business.
Paras says she and others believe the business association is being hijacked by the city council members who sit on it.
She claims the board has become dysfunctional with board members speaking to the media without other members knowing what’s going on.
Paras indicates they are gathering signatures on a petition in hopes it will force the current board’s demise.
