Dease Pool Petition Started

The drive to keep Dease pool open has reached the petition stage.

There are 11 locations you can sign on if you want city council to reverse its decision to close the century old facility.

It’s all in preparation for a public meeting of citizens next week and a pre-budget meeting at city hall January 10th.

The petition is available to sign at the following locations:

1. Superior Bowladrome
2. Petries Cycle and Sport
3. Twice as Nice Thrift Store ( N. May St.)
4. Sit’n Pretty
5. Velvet Rope Floral (111 S May St.)
6. The Hub Baazar
7. K and A gas Bar
8. Chapman’s Gas Bar
9. Bannon’s Gas Bar
10. T.L.P. Gas Bar
11. Mrs L. Confectioney ( corner of Marks and Cameron St.)
