Crocker-Ellacott To Head Regional Health Authority

Some big responsibilities await the new CEO of the region’s health authority, Rhonda Crocker-Ellacott, when she takes over next month.

The vice-chair of the Local Health Integration Network, Cathy Farrell, tells us the top job will be the authority’s new ten-year blueprint for health services in northwestern Ontario.

Farrell says the LHIN has been very clear about where they want to see health care going in the northwest, and they “will expect their CEO to continue that work.”

Crocker-Ellacott will also be responsible for developing a new five-year health services plan for the region

Farrell notes that Crocker-Ellacott was chosen because of her extensive experience in health care. (File Photo)
