Crews Rescue Two Men From Soldier’s Hole Near Drowning

A pair of men fortunate to be alive after nearly drowning in Soldier’s Hole near Trowbridge Park.

The call came in at 6:00 p.m. Thursday as emergency crews located the unresponsive man through the dense bush to the cliff line and pulled him to safety.

In an email to Acadia News, Katryna Kadikoff says she and her cousin Jenna were the ones to pull the man out of the water.

He was given CPR and made him responsive before paramedics arrived.

The individuals were treated on scene and taken to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre for further evaluation.
