A crash has shut down a section of Highway 599 in the Ignace area.
Ontario Provincial Police said the road is closed between Highway 17 and Highway 642 due to a “serious collision.”
“Please avoid the area and plan alternate routes,” OPP said in a Facebook post just before 7 a.m. Wednesday
MTO first posted about the closure around 5:30 a.m. Wednesday.
It is not yet known how long the highway will be closed for.
