Officials have declared a COVID-19 outbreak at Bethammi Nursing Home.
The Thunder Bay District Health Unit and St. Joseph’s Care Group confirm a staff member has tested positive for coronavirus that works on the third floor of the facility.
Consistent with provincial guidelines, an outbreak is declared when a staff or resident is found to be positive for COVID-19.
The facility was part of the initial roll-out of the COVID-19 vaccination program.
