A fund set up to offer financial support to groups to get through the pandemic got a major boost.
First, the Thunder Bay Community Foundation has matched the United Way of Thunder Bay’s initial $25,000 contribution to the Thunder Bay COVID-19 Community Response Fund. The foundation has offered to partner with the United Way for this important fundraiser. Shortly after that partnership was formed an anonymous donor wrote a cheque for$100,000.
Local agencies can apply for funding through the Thunder Bay Community Foundation’s online grant platform.
