COVID-19 Claims Another Life In District

The 31st death locally related to coronavirus is confirmed.

The Thunder Bay District Health Unit reports 26 new cases of COVID-19.

Here’s the breakdown of the new cases:

  • 10 cases were obtained from someone else who had the virus
  • 10 case causes are pending
  • Six cases have no known exposure

There are now 389 active cases in the district.

The Northwestern Health Unit is reporting seven new cases of COVID-19.

In Ontario 958 new cases and 17 deaths.

  • Originally from southern Ontario, Jason found his way here and fell in love with the community and music scene of Thunder Bay over twenty years ago. In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
