It says of those, one person got the virus after traveling outside Northwestern Ontario.

Eight are from the surrounding area, one is from a District community.

That brings the active case load to 54, it was 48 yesterday.

Three people have had their diagnoses cleared.

Four people are in hospital, one is in intensive care.

Provincially, there are 3,519 new cases Thursday, and 89 deaths.

In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
