71 Active Cases In Thunder Bay

A drop in the number of active COVID-19 cases in the Thunder Bay District Health Unit.

22 new ones confirmed over the weekend with 66 more deemed as resolved; of the new infections eight were picked up in household contact while six more were contracted from someone else who had the virus.

As of Monday morning, there are six active cases of COVID-19 within the Lakehead Public School Board and 25 in the Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board.

In Ontario 1,536 new cases confirmed with 634 emerging from individuals who are not fully vaccinated and 93 from those who have an unknown vaccination status.
