Disappointing news this morning from the organizers of CountryFest.
In a release to our newsroom, they say due to logistical and financial concerns, it’s being put off for a year.
They add with more time for planning and finding community support, they hope it’ll return the following year.
In two years the event doubled in size, from four bands the 1st year, to 12 last year… and the attendance last year recorded at 6,000 people.
The 1st year also had 88 campsites registered, last year it was 200.
