Country On The Bay Postponed

The world-wide pandemic is taking its toll on this year’s Country on the Bay music festival at Marina Park.

Organizer Rob Waloschuk confirmed for Acadia Broadcasting’s John Ongaro what many may have been suspecting for some weeks, the event will not take place this year.

“Given the safety of all the fans and all the artists and as well… Premier (Doug Ford) this week has announced his three phase plan which doesn’t include us for quite some time, so we’ve decided to postpone the event until next year,” announced Waloschuk

Country on the Bay will now happen July 23rd, 24th and 25th of 2021.

Waloschuk adds, if you have already purchased tickets not to worry because all tickets purchased for this year’s event will be honoured next year and details on refunds will be outlined in the next couple of weeks.

The country music festival was scheduled for July with artists which included Toby Keith, Terri Clark and High Valley. All the top acts have confirmed they will be returning for the event in 2021.
