A proposed subdivision on Paquette Road isn’t moving in anytime soon.
A developer looking to build 24 houses north of Woodcrest School had his request to rezone the area for urban sprawl turned down at last night’s Council meeting.
Councillors unanimously agreed with city administration that the plan is premature.
But development services manager Mark Smith says the proposed project hinges on bad planning, and as a result there’s just not enough information.
Smith adds the proposal can always come back to Council when it follows the normal process. (File photo)
