City councillors will be asked to support a request from Andrew Foulds concerning the 2021 Canadian women’s curling championship.
He wants his colleagues to endorse the city’s bid to host the Scotties Tournament of Hearts.
The Current River councillor thinks “Thunder Bay has proven time and time again it can be an excellent host.”
Several weeks back, local officials made a presentation at city hall detailing what the bid will entail and what would be required of the city as a host.
Foulds hopes councillors will see the merit in his request calling it ” the closest thing to a no-brainer.”
