Councillor Delving Into Arthur St W, Off-Road Vehicles

The Neebing Ward Meeting will look at both the illegal use of off-road vehicles and slowing down on Arthur Street West.

Councillor Cody Fraser welcomes your feedback tonight at 7:00.

“It’s a 50/50 split with my residents,” Fraser told Acadia News. “I mean if you live on Arthur Street West, then you’re obviously in favour of it. However if you live in the 20th Side Road and Rosslyn Road area and use the road to commute everyday, maybe not so much. It’s an interesting topic for sure.”

The venture will be back before council in the form of a report from administration on Monday, December 6.

For off-road vehicles, “I get calls and emails of instances of the use of them illegally. Obviously people don’t want that type of activity to take place in their area, and I’m going to use this opportunity to explain to folks the proper methods to go about filing complaints, which would be with police.”
