A 25-year-old Thunder Bay woman is charged with assault with a weapon, robbery and mischief under $5,000.
Police say they responded Monday night to reports of a robbery at a convenience store on Cumberland Street North.
Officials say a woman attempted to leave without paying for items and when staff tried to stop her she threw cola bottles at them and threatened them with a newspaper stand.
She then tried to break a glass door with a metal shelf.
The suspect appeared in bail court Tuesday and was remains in custody with a future court date.
