Consultant Wanted For Youth Program

The city is looking for a consultant to come up with a specialized five year program to help troubled young people feel included in the community.

The consultant will be responsible for the Youth Inclusion Program and will address risk factors that can lead to crime or protect youth from being victimized.

The target age will be between 12 and 24.

They will work with a $5.6 million budget provided by the federal government and be allowed to use existing city resources for free.

The city says that works out to over $440,000 for in-kind services.

In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
