Thunder Bay police tell us Golf Links Road is now open.
The civilian police watchdog is looking into a crash between an OPP cruiser and another vehicle.
City police responded to the crash which happened just after 11 o’clock yesterday morning at the Golf Links Road entrance to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.
They say there were injuries as a result of the collision, but don’t say how many people were hurt or how severely.
The Special Investigations Unit has invoked its mandate, which includes investigating incidents involving police and civilians which result in death or serious injuries.
