Confederation College is being proactive and addressing systemic racism within their school.
President Kathleen Lynch tells us they hired a company to review their policies to see if they contained inherent racism.
“So now it is a matter of changing those policies so that we don’t accidentally discriminate.”
Confederation College staff also underwent cultural training.
Lynch provided her first Report to the Community on Wednesday.
