Cold Snap Should Be Short Lived

Expect the colder temperatures in Thunder Bay to last into tomorrow.

Environment Canada meteorologist Peter Kimbell confirms what you may have already suspected, this is kind of weather not normal for November 11th.

He says normally the high would be 2 degrees today but the high will only reach -10 for today and -9 tomorrow “so we are in record-breaking territory.”

The Environment Canada meteorologist tells us we should be closer to normal temperature Wednesday with a forecast high of about minus 2 and we should be back above zero by Saturday.

We are not the only ones feeling the effects of this cold snap. Kimbell tells us this current cold from the north extends west to the prairies, east to other parts of Ontario and as far south as Oklahoma, U.S.A.

In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
