CN & Chief Differ Over Bridge Offer

Fort William First Nation Chief Georjann Morriseau feels CN is insulting her community in it’s latest and rejected offer to the City of Thunder Bay over the James Street Bridge.

Morriseau claims CN has essentially, in a take it or leave it approach, offered her people to relinquish any and all rights to the lands and to any historical, current or future claims against CN.

Meanwhile, CN’s director of public and government affairs Jim Feeney denies the railway giant has asked the community to surrender lands.
