Clint Malarchuk Speaks Out Tonight

Former NHL goalie Clint Malarchuk is telling his story.

It began when, as a member of the Buffalo Sabres, his throat was sliced by a skate in1989. Since then he says he’s been struggling with PTSD and has survived addiction and a suicide attempt.

He says he suffered in silence after that, saying he was somewhat of a “rock star” coming back as quick as he did. He says while everyone was saying “what a tough guy” he was inside he was suffering but in denial because he didn’t know what was going on.

Malarchuk will be telling his story tonight at the Victoria Inn….doors open at 6:30.
