Expect to see some new docks at the north side of Pier 2, possibly by next summer.
Parks manager Cory Halveron indicates he’s spoken to one local company interested in doing the work, but there’s word outside the province as well for interested contractors.
Halverson is expecting to spend roughly $450,000, replacing the docks he says have simply become to old to leave alone much longer.
