City police arrest 2 suspects in murder investigation

City police have arrested two suspects wanted on murder charges.

Officers were sent to Blucher Avenue on Tuesday after receiving a tip about the wanted suspects being in the area.

Warrants for their arrest were issued on September 18, as a result of a homicide investigation into the death of a 31-year-old at a home on Tamarack Place on August 30.

A significant police presence was in the area during the investigation and arrests.

As a result, an 18-year-old and a 20-year-old are both facing a second-degree murder charge.

Both of the accused remain in custody with a future court date.
