The city has reduced its deficit but still expects to be almost $8-million over-budget by the end of the year.
Its last financial report projected a deficit of $13-million, and City Council will get the latest update in a report tomorrow night.
Around $7-million of the deficit is from extra costs and lost revenues due to the pandemic.
The latest estimate doesn’t include the costs associated with opening Churchill Pool, Community Centres, and Summer Ice.
