City And Employees Work To Avoid Strike

Thunder Bay and its city workers are meeting Monday to avoid a strike.

CUPE president Dana Vacek tells us they are going over wage and benefit increases for about 500 to 600 people with a mediator.

They are also meeting tomorrow.

City employees voted overwhelmingly to strike if no deal is reached.
