I was once almost strangled because I said I wasn’t a fan of pretzels…we’ve moved past that now and not only do I now have the chance to enjoy the company of my ‘attacker’ I also have learned to enjoy pretzels. Something I’ve NEVER had a hard time enjoying has been Reese’s peanut butter cups. I’ve been a fan since the first time someone handed me a peanut butter cup and said, ‘just try it’. I was already hooked by their ‘you got your peanut butter on my chocolate’ ads from the 70’s but I was hesitant to try it. As a picky eater, I didn’t like my food touching on the plate, let alone blended together. I think peanut butter cups may have been the catalyst to trying and loving new foods…and likely the catalyst for my belly as well!
Over the years Reese has introduced new products but this year, they may be taking a huge leap by adding pretzel bits into their peanut butter cups! The new flavour will be available in the regular, big cup and mini cup sizes…but not until after Halloween. The slogan for this new product? ‘The Hell With It. It’s 2020!’ I’m pretty sure a lot of us are using that same slogan these days…
