Charges for a Thunder Bay woman after police say she was driving impaired with children in the vehicle.
It’s reported police saw an SUV speeding around 10 o’clock, Sunday morning, near Court and River Streets.
Police add the driver stopped at a red light, but when it changed to green, the vehicle did not move for a period of time, then took off quickly.
Police pulled the driver over, say they saw an open bottle of liquor on the seat, and two small children without car seats or seatbelts. Further tests at the police station revealed a blood alcohol level four times over the legal limit.
The 33-year-old was charged, then released with conditions, and a future court date.
