A 36-year-old man is facing a charge after police say they received word a Thunder Bay Internet user had uploaded files suspected to be child porn.
An ongoing investigation revealed the suspicious files were consistent with child pornography.
As a result of these findings, investigators obtained and executed a search warrant for a residential address in the 200 block of Varsity Place on Monday.
During the search police located multiple electronic devices containing images consistent with child pornography.
He appeared in court yesterday and was released with a future appearance date of February 14, 2020.
