Chiefs of Ontario are hosting an Education Conference in Toronto.
The conference is taking place on Thursday and Friday with the intention to discuss the education system and how it can meet the needs of First Nation students.
Chief Stan Beardy says that the federal government has wielded control for too long and have suffered the consequences.
