City police are charging an unlicensed driver after he turned left on a red light directly into oncoming traffic.
The two vehicle crash happened around seven last night at the intersection of the Harbour Expressway and Golf Links Road.
Both vehicles were extensively damaged.
The 50 year old man is being charged with being an unlicensed driver, disobeying a red turn light and making an unsafe left turn. (File photo)
