Ontario Provincial Police have now laid charges in connection to a fatal motor vehicle collision which took place on Highway 102 on December 2nd, 2023.
Officers were called to the incident which occurred just before 10 p.m. involving a commercial motor vehicle and a snowplow.
The 52 year old driver of the snowplow was pronounced deceased on scene.
An investigation has now resulted in charges against the driver of the transport, a 33 year old man from Brampton.
He faces one charge of:
- Dangerous Operation Causing Death
The accused has been released from custody and will appear in court next month.
