The Humane Society is laying animal cruelty charges against a Thunder Bay couple.
The charge stems from an incident over the summer that saw 23 cats and kittens abandoned in a dog crate in Wilson Street Park.
One of the kittens died in the crate and others were in very bad shape.
A man and a woman are charge with four counts each of animal cruelty for causing distress, failing to provide care for the animals and failing to provide medical attention to them.
