Celebrate Canada Day in Thunder Bay

There will be lots to do in Thunder Bay to celebrate Canada’s birthday.

Canada Day celebrations at Marina Park will take place from 3 to 9 p.m.

This includes cultural performances, dancing and live music, as well as food vendors.

You will also find an artisan market, inflatables, face painting, chalk art and cupcakes.

In addition, a sunrise ceremony will take place at Tai Chai Park beginning at 6 a.m.

You can find a full list of activities taking place on the city’s website.

Parking will be limited within the park, but metered parking in the waterfront downtown is free because of the holiday.

Shuttle buses will also leave the Auditorium every 15 to 20 minutes, beginning at 2:30 p.m., arriving at the Tourist Pagoda.
