Stage one of reopening the economy in Ontario is getting a positive but cautious approval from the president of the Thunder Bay Chamber of Commerce.
Charla Robinson likes the careful way certain stores will be allowed to open.
“I think it’s a step in the right direction but I also think it’s incumbent on business owners and the public to make sure we are following these rules,” says Robinson.
The chamber president says it is important for customers to obey the new directives so these businesses can continue to remain open.
Robinson also believes it is critical for business owners to have the safety precautions in place before they reopen “whether that means that they have to put new signage up within their business or to move things around” to allow for physical distancing rules.
