A 61-year-old man has died while canoeing on Manitouwadge Lake.
Provincial Police say that on Thursday afternoon, family members noticed the man’s canoe had flipped and that he was in the water.
Some nearby people on the lake were able to retrieve him from under the water, but paramedics confirmed the Manitouwadge resident had died.
The OPP are reminding anyone going out on the water to always wear a life jacket or floatation device.
