A solemn day as Canada marks the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women.
The day remembers the 14 women who were murdered at l’Ecole Polytechnique in Montreal in 1989.
Here in Thunder Bay, a candlelight vigil will take place at the Francophone Centre from 7 until 9 at their Van Norman Street location.
