Canada/U.S. Border Restrictions Extended

The Canada/U.S. border restrictions have been extended by another month.

Public Safety Minister Bill Blair made the announcement Thursday morning on Twitter.

Blair says non-essential travel restrictions will now continue until at least April 21st.

“We will continue to base our decisions on the best public health advice available to keep Canadians safe from
COVID-19,” Blair said.

Travellers who are allowed into Canada must quarantine for 14 days or face serious penalties.
