Do you ice fish? How thick is the ice lately? Be careful PLEASE.
Do you have an ‘ice fishing hut / shack”?

Imagine seeing this on the ice. 4 friends got together and bought a decommissioned airplane on Facebook Marketplace for $3,000. Then the work began.

They emptied the contents and installed skis on the bottom; benches inside; 2 diesel heaters. It can seat up to 18 people comfortably.

They say it weighs about the same as your average size ‘pick up truck’. It’s now situated on a lake, about 60 km north of Regina. The ‘ice fishing shack’ / or plane – is getting a lot of attention on social media. HAPPY FISHING! Boarding ticket please! LOL.
