Charges have been laid after police say a cab driver and paramedics were assaulted early this morning.
They tell us it happened in the Algoma and John Street area at around 3:20 am when a cab driver reported he was assaulted.
When officers arrived a woman was being restrained by paramedics who tried to get her off the middle of the street.
It’s believed she was under the influence of what police call, “an unknown drug.”
A 38 year old woman is charged.
