Burt Reynolds Passes

I’m sorry to hear that Burt Reynolds has apparently passed away at the age of 82. TMZ reports that he suffered a heart attack. What a legend. Burt dominated the box office in the 70s and early 80s. He was the epitome of a leading man. I remember watching “Smokey and the Bandit” at an age that was probably much too young to be watching “Smokey and the Bandit”! He was just such a cool cat. He made a bit of a comeback in the 90s, getting a Best Supporting Actor Oscar nod for “Boogie Nights”. More recently, I’ve been reminded of Burt by his appearances on the cartoon “Archer” and every time someone wants to do shots. I always go for the “Burt Reynolds”. Strong but smooth. Just like “The Man”.
