Our Kids Count is in bad need of donations of food for their neighbourhood cupboard that helps feed local families in need.
Executive Director Gladys Berringer tells us they’ve had to turn people away because their cupboards were bare.
“So it’s actually over 4,600 people that the cupboard serves, so that small cupboard which is an 8×8 little room with some shelves in it with food that’s what’s putting food out to families. We get a lot of snack items which helps families during the school year.”
You can bring donations to the Our Kids Count booth at Ribfest this weekend.
