Both Doses Required To Access City Facilities

Get ready to provide your proof of vaccination at all indoor recreation facilities in Thunder Bay.

It all starts Wednesday as the province is implementing a Vaccine Passport system, which requires you to provide a vaccination receipt or a medical exemption alongside government-issued identification to gain entry at every visit.

In a release Tuesday, the city says proof documents can be shown electronically or in hard copy and will not be retained or recorded in any way.

The statement adds that the Vaccine Disclosure Policy is separate from this regulation and applies to all City of Thunder Bay employees, students, volunteers.
